About Debra

Debra Talbert is an author whose work includes both fiction and non-fiction genres. When it comes to her unique style as a writer, she describes poetry as her "native tongue," with the rhythms and intimacies of that voice finding their way into all aspects of her creative process. Originally from Los Angeles, she found her passion as a writer and artist growing up in the shadows of the entertainment industry. After 20 years in the Pacific Northwest, she now resides in Arizona and finds her inspiration in the endless blue skies and the subtle poetry of the Sonoran desert.

Dragon de la Seine, a memoire of souls in touch is the story of an extraordinary relationship that calls across time and space to be expressed. Told through the eyes of three characters who each have a unique perspective of its mystical unfolding.
Reflective of the mystical wisdom of The Alchemist, and the antiphonal discourse of Griffin and Sabine, Dragon de la Seine is the story of the mystery evoked when souls touch.

The Gypsy Sings, a Trilogy to Celebrate the Gypsy in the Soul, is a whimsical, sometimes farcical, occasionally fantastical collection of voices--all raised in celebration of the gypsy in the soul. It speaks to the inner life, the outer silliness, and to the flashes of immortal brilliance that release the gypsy in us all.

Twenty full-color original paintings, plus drawings. A beautiful book, with a powerful message! Reminiscent of Griffin & Sabine.
